Single Malt Highland 46°

Western Highlander, John MacDonald created the Ben Nevis distillery in 1825. In 1955 it passed onto the hands of Joseph W. Hobbs who put in a Coffey type still, producing both malt and grain whisky.
A light nose of fruit and flower is to be found along with an impression of sweetness that emerges in general with hints of tropical fruits, mango, and coconut.
The taste is a pleasant mixture of bitterness and sweetness. Sweetness and complexity characterize this malt.
The final is lengthy and bitter yet soft.
