Imperial 1997

Imperial 1997

Single Malt Speyside 46°

The Imperial distillery was built in the year of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria by Thomas MacKenzie, in 1897.
The nose reveals hints of ripe fruit and flowers, behind a light veil of smoke.
On the palate, a nice mix of green apples, very fine and discreet wood moving slowly to ripe fruit and a certain malty sweetness.
The finish is long and fruity with slight hints of hazelnut. A whisky of exceptional softness.
